  • The Logu Senhor procession is a Portuguese tradition that was brought in by the first King of Sikka, Don Alexius Alessu Ximenes da Silva in the 1600s. The Logu Senhor tradition commemorates the story of the passion of the Lord Jesus Christ which is usually carried out before Easter, namely on Good Friday. Logo Senhor means to crouch under the cross. For 2022 the Logu Senhor procession on Good Friday will be held on Friday 15 April 2022, and registration for those who follow this procession will begin on Monday 28 March 2022 - 10 April 2022 at the Secretariat Committee of the Church of Saint Ignatius Loyola Sikka. It is mandatory to wear a black sarong/debt for women and lipa for men at the Logu Senhor.
